This weekend is Leamington Art In The Park Festival and it's going to be a hot one!
Hats, sunscreen and lots of water will be the order of the day.
Open from 10am - 6pm, you'll find me in the LSA marquee on Archery Lawn, not far from East Lodge along with six other members of Leamington Studio Artists.
We're just opposite the Artists Village and very conveniently placed for the food and drinks - I've already spotted the distinctive black tent of the Warwickshire Gin Company which is worryingly close, and I believe our immediate neighbours are The Brownie Boss, so that's the diet on hold for the weekend! For the sake of fairness, I should to point out that other food and drink purveyors are also available.
The Superblooms, St Brides Hydrangea and Bad Hair Dahlia, will be out, as will a couple of new, smaller florals completed since WOS Summer Art Weeks, including Café Au Lait, pictured below.
I've received new stock of the Limited Edition prints of the Superblooms, and have made lots more of the softest, most velvety cushions you can imagine! For those who like to come along and restock your card drawer, I've just taken delivery of a large order, including plenty of the ones that I sold out of at Art In Dunchurch! Especially the Hydrangea!
In case you're in any doubt which image I'm talking about, this picture and message was received from a lovely customer who came along on the final day of Open Studios, when she bought this St Brides Hydrangea Limited Edition print.
'The colour could not be more perfect. It's beautiful! Thank you.'
