MARCH WORKSHOP - Apologies that it's short notice.
Magnolia Workshop - full day
For the first time, a workshop looking at techniques for painting, loose, expressive Magnolia blossoms. Apologies that it's short notice.
Tuesday 26th March 10.30am - 3pm
Cost: £65
Confirmation of this date is subject to a minimum of three people.
Suitable for those who already have some experience of watercolour, however limited.
Using a combination of demonstrations and exercises this workshop will consist of a two hour session in the morning where we will explore controlled wet-in-wet techniques, and a second two hour session in the afternoon will allow plenty of time to put these techniques into practice so that a finished piece can be taken home.
Full day - there will be 2 x two hour sessions with a break for lunch.
Bring your own lunch - drinks and homemade cake provided, plus bundles of inspiration!
All workshops are limited to 6 people

APRIL WORKSHOPS
Spring Blossom Workshop - full day
Saturday 6th April 10.30 - 3pm
Cost: £65
Apple, cherry, pear or plum, whatever the blossom we'll look at the challenge of painting white or very pale petals, the pros and cons of including a background, handling shadows and creating contrast with supporting twigs and branches.
Tulip Workshop - full day
Saturday 13th April 10.30 - 3pm
Cost: £65
TULIPS, TULIPS, TULIPS!
Need I say more?! Probably, yes.
In all their glorious forms and colours, we'll try different techniques to capture their beauty, both as single blooms and as a bunch.
What you need to know for ALL CLASSES:
Full day - there will be 2 x two hour sessions with a break for lunch.
Bring your own lunch - drinks and homemade cake provided, plus bundles of inspiration!
Suitable for those who already have some experience of watercolour painting, however limited.
Demonstration and guided exercises will be used, there will be plentiful inspiration in the form of foliage, flowers, photos etc, and you will leave with a finished (hopefully!) piece.
Cost to include basic materials, but feel free to supplement these with your own.
Each workshop will be limited to 6 people
