Hurrah! It's almost time for Art in the Park!

Goodness, that's come around quickly! It only seems like yesterday that I was packing away after Warwickshire Open Studios, (a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came over to Offchurch) and suddenly there's just a few days to go until Leamington Art in the Park Festival 2018.

Always one of my very favourite events of the year, the first weekend in August has for many people become synonymous with buckets of arty fun, live music, eccentric entertainers, tempting treats to eat and drink, ever-cheery yellow T-shirted volunteers, crowds of happy people and (fingers crossed) the usual blue skies and sunshine. Oh, and of course, there will be lots and lots of lovely art to see, to buy, to be inspired by, demonstrations to watch, workshops to take part in and creativity to be amazed by. To be honest, two days simply isn't long enough to take it all in.

This year's festival will be even bigger and even better, and to prove it, here's a link to the fab new guide that has just been launched. Click here to go to the download. The guide is jam packed with all the information you need, information like where to find me - the answer is right in the middle of Archery Lawn at AL70, opposite Darlarose Vintage Coffee Caravan, not far from the Music Stage.

And here's a clue what to look for, my spanking new banner! Isn't she lovely?!

I must admit to being a little nervous about being in my own gazebo for the first time this year - think of me tomorrow wrestling with canvas and poles. To fill it up, there will be original paintings, prints, cushions and of course, the greetings cards, lots of greetings cards. I do know how people like to stock up!

This year, as a treat, there will be a couple of Art in the Park Specials - £5 off the £20 mounted prints, and £5 off all the cushions. So if you've been thinking about a cushion or two, or indeed, a print or two, now's the time...

See you there!!
