Less than a week to go until the start of Open Studios, and the to-do list is getting longer, not shorter.
I'm still busy trying to finish a painting, but on the plus side, the frames are made and ready to collect. Thanks to my lovely sister, the cushion covers are well under way, including some fab new designs - did someone ask for chickens?!! And thanks to the lovely Nina and Mikey at Ginger, the cards and prints are all ready.
Lighting, labels, bags, supports, bubble wrap, tissue, the list of essentials goes on, but the the most important part of this amazing event is you, the visitor. Without people to share with, all the preparation is pointless.The to-do list may seem endless, but once the doors are open, meeting our visitors is an absolute joy. Chatting, sharing experiences, meeting new friends, that's what it's all about.
