It's August, so that can only mean one thing, it's time for the magic and craziness that is the Leamington Art in the Park Festival. This weekend, 3rd and 4th of August at Jepson Gardens in Leamington Spa.
Today has been all about setting up - cloths on tables, flowers in vases, pictures on hooks, even fishes on railings. Fishes? Well the theme for this year's extravaganza is Water, so be prepared for around 700 knitted fish, octopus and other assorted creatures installed around the park.
There is an amazing line up of live music all weekend, street performers, art installations and dance performances. More food and drink that you could wish for and lots and lots of lovely ART!
This year I'm one of six artists in one of the Leamington Studio Artists marquees on Archery Lawn near to the Aviary Cafe. I've got lots of original paintings with me and a selection of bright new cushions.
